Does it get any better than this? If nature is a church, then plants and flowers in particular must be the sacrament. When beauty exists in a larger design, like a landscape, it's easier to think that the human eye has imposed its own appeal of symmetry or grandeur -- that it's just our perception. But when the wonder is this close -- this irregular -- this varied -- this tangible, it's hard not to wonder whether there might truly be an objective thing called beauty.
